It all happens through a data mapping process, which allows users to connect to Barchart data and create catalogs of templates, categories, observations, and master data. This helps users organize and structure their data into specific categories based on predefined templates that contain attributes and types of observations. 

Once the initial setup is complete and the master data is created, each category or underlying can be filled with transactional data, such as prices. This data is obtained from Barchart, the data provider. The data is then transformed and processed through a pipeline. 

In simple terms, the data mapping process allows users to organize their data into categories using predefined templates. They can then populate these categories with transactional data from Barchart, which is transformed and processed. This helps users manage and analyze their data effectively, as it is structured and organized in a way that makes it easier to work with.
