We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer. We consider candidates with or without test automation experience who are willing to learn and grow in IT development.

While this is a remote position, you will participate in regular on-site working sessions to facilitate teamwork and knowledge exchange. 

Role overview 

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans. 
• Collaborate with the technical team to understand current goals and objectives. 
• Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure the platform’s and chatbots’ functionality, usability, and performance. 
• Drive the integration of tests into our CI/CD workflows, ensuring that continuous testing is an integral part of our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and cognitive analysts, to ensure clear communication and understanding of testing objectives. 
• Participate in regular meetings to provide testing status updates and contribute to overall project discussions. 
• Implement and promote best QA practices within the technical team. 
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to incorporate into our testing processes. 

We believe that you’ll enjoy this role if you are / have 

• Fluent in English. 
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or similar fields. 
• A strong desire and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies and gain new skills. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating effectively with remote team members across different countries. 
• Flexible and adaptable to constant changes and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where new challenges and opportunities arise daily. 
• Ability to stay focused and productive in a remote setting, setting goals and taking initiative to accomplish tasks. 
• Creative problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues independently and adapt quickly to changing circumstances. 

Desired Technical skills:  

• At least 1 year of experience in a software quality assurance role, specifically focused on testing web applications, or 1 year of experience as a software developer.
• Experience with Postman for manual testing.
• Experience with Cypress JS for test automation is a plus.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
